The week I started training with Micah, I drove by his fitness studio twice before finally getting up the nerve to go in and see what it was all about. I had in mind a Hollywood Fitness gym where there were nothing but 6' tall muscle-bound meatheads working out. And imagined that my 5' 5" out-of-shape body would stand out like a sore thumb. It was completely the opposite.

Micah's gym was filled with people like myself who had finally made the decision to get in shape. All ages and body types, and people who were enjoying the sweating they were doing.

That was three years ago. I'm now going into my fourth year of training at MH Fitness. I turned 50 this year, and as cliche as it might sound, working out at MH and with Micah is one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life. I've put on more muscle than I ever thought possible, I'm in the best shape I've ever been in, and I'm looking to the future where I'll be in even better shape.

Last week I did a dead lift of 225 lbs. When I started three years ago, I could barely lift a 25 lb kettle bell. That should say it all right there.
